The CD player, the most common and affordable stereo system for our cars
If you are type of guy don’t want spent much in their car’s stereo you may want a basic one to replace just your factory radio. So I recommend one cd player that has pre-amp built in so that it can power your speakers. You should be looking a player with EQ (equalizer) (minimum 3 EQ) so you can change the style of your music anytime you want.
Take a note that if you are this guy who has all his music compress in his computer such MP3, so you should be considering take a look to the stereo system with MP3 support or other digital audio encoding that may you have.
That’s maybe a reasonable good idea, because you can carry just a couples CDs in your car with your favorite music instead to carry a bunch of Original CDs in your car.
Save space and your investment, because sometimes, friends like the same music than you and they might take borrow some of your CDs, I mean ORIGINAL CDs!! and never return them, they can lost them. Trust me, I know what it means, I lost more than 20 original cds from my collection, and that’s money that I never gonna see again. :(
the price could be almost the same for stereos that support MP3 or not, so you should better go with the one with MP3 support.
The combo systems (some can also play MP3 and sirius Satellite) are very popula
r for people which car has a wide open space in their car for the stereos. In my opinion, I don’t really recommend this combo system, because, the cassettes are becoming a memory for us, just that, and if you don’t have cassettes that can’t burn, well then this is for you, but if you don’t have any cassettes, so this is not for you, because believe me when I saying that in the future you won’t get any music in cassettes.
Note: this combo set is also named double-din (in good to know, just in case your in the situation you want to buy one of those), double-din means that it has two source of sound which are CD and Cassette both in one system.
Another option fancier for your car can be a CD player changer system, it can be very convenient because you don’t have to worry about changing CDs while you are trying to drive at the same time. CD changers can hold 5 to 10 CDs at once(some of them can hold DVDs as well), depend of the brand and models, they also come with a remote control for convenience.
Make sure of the CD changer and the stereo system are from the same brand, like this we minimize at 0 the risk that it couldn’t work.

I recommended a professional installation of your new cd player if you don’t know how to install it, It’s cost you couple bucks more but it will worth it.
