DVD DISC

Recommended for: If you a the person who likes to record and play without loosing time passing your movie into a normal DVD or VHS cassette .

Now, you must know that you to finalize the disc in your camcorder before play in your DVD player, the process could take up-to 10 minutes depending how long in the movie. but something that I like of the dvd disc is that you don’t have to rewind the cassette, you just have to play it back the movie, you just have to play it back.

Cameras and Camcorders: dvd discIt's difficult to edit the footage you've recorded, as only few videos editing programs are able to read the compressed video files from the DVD. The DVD discs are pretty cheap; you'll usually pay about $10 for a pack of three but you probably won't find themes easy as the miniDV. You'll either have to order them online or go to large electronics or computer store.

Mini-DV

Recommended for: If you prefer quality videos better than easy of rec. and play, soCameras and Camcorders: mini that’s for you.

huge range of camcorders use this media type, from basic point-and-shoot models to professional video cameras that people have used to shoot films. MiniDV is supported by all video editing and DVD authoring programs, so copying video from a MiniDV tape to a PC and then onto a DVD is simple; all you need is a FireWire port.
